How little I've changed

Since I was about 13, the ideal birthday celebration has remained pretty much unchanged. It must involve pizza, angel food cake, fewer than 10 friends, and some kind of movie-related indulgence. Tonight was a little different than the birthdays of my teen years because there were no parents around and we had beer and wine for our guests. Still, it started with pizza and ended with angel food, and the nine of us sat around talking and watching the Academy Awards. Good times.
