Melted spatula
A house isn't really a home until you have had your first kitchen fire. Right?

Do you remember the wok?

Hmm, I don't remember a specific wok, but I do remember a category of fires that it might fit into.

Maybe you weren't there at that moment. I was cooking and a big fire shot up in the wok. I set the wok on the floor and tried to smother the fire with a lid (that didn't fit). When I saw that the fire was not getting smaller I yelled for someone to open the front door and I ran and threw the wok out into the front yard. The fire went out and we were left with a burn mark on the kitchen floor that looked like cat poop. We don't have that floor, or that wok, any more.

OK, that was after I moved out, but I do remember the scar on the kitchen floor.

I was thinking that this

also fits into the category of "Things I have cooked", such as the tag you have there. I posted that to flickr as a comment, then realized that I was posting as you, so I deleted it.
