Like Lazarus, courtneysherwood.com is reborn

Today I became the sort of person who spends $140 on the least ugly pair of comfortable shoes. My feet have been hurting a lot lately, and I finally decided they were worth the money.

After a three week hiatus, I relaunch this web journal with one of the dullest anecdotes of my absent interval.

More interesting: Roller Derby in Philadelphia, Little Italy in Baltimore, jazz in the East Village, a hike through Georgetown in DC, a dysfunctional Alexandria photo shoot I'll cherish forever, beer in Arlington, group spider stomping and Ski Bowl for worthless rewards, the promise of a brother/neighbor, adultery (alleged, not mine), lesbian mother surprises, brewmaster cousins-in-law, lots of family, lots of friends, heaps of vegan food, and a web site melt down.

The web site is back, and so am I. All is well here in Portland. And with you?

Actually, the photos were surprisingly decent. I think I'm gonna buy one or two.
