I defy you!
Well, I went against the preferences of more than half of the people I know, including my husband, and placed an order for glasses option A yesterday. They weigh much less and are more comfortable than the other alternative. My eyes are more centered in the frames, which is good for both my vision and my vanity. I spend most of my time out in the world wearing very conservative business clothes, and having a slightly funkier pair of glasses to counteract my clothes appeals to me. The purple frames bring out the green in my eyes. Also, the advocates for A made more compelling arguments.

Let this be a lesson to all of you: what matters most in life is whether your argument is compelling.
(Actually I really wanted A, I just said B so she would do the opposite. This tactic works really well when you're married to someone!)

Ben, I think that's what the NYTimes would call, "What Shamu taught me about love."

Democracy doesn't work.

It's called "reverse democracy." Or maybe I just broke America.

you've convinced me that A was actually better all along. i don't know if this means that i'm open-minded or just easily swayed.

Sorry I didn't hear about this in time to vote. But I like A, look how nicely your eyes are centered in each lens. I would have needed to see the rest of your face to make a really informed choice. Not that I wouldn't recognize you if I saw you. I really enjoyed all the pix of the wedding, we had a movie showing at T-giving. The film and the sound were several minutes off from each other which gave it a really interesting effect.
