Weather!
It snowed! There was about a sixteenth of an inch of white powder outside this morning, and I actually had to scrape my car before I could drive to work. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 20s. I sometimes miss cold weather, living in a city that's generally moderate most of the time. But when I say "miss," I think I mean "I'd like to be around the white stuff in a geographically appropriate location." I certainly don't want the cold to come to us here.

Snow huh? You got HOT last summer and now snow. Wonder if we'll get any snow here this winter? I certainly hope so!

Yeah, the weather's been weird this year. Here's hoping for a milder 2007. The good news: ski areas are really benefitting. So I'm thinking I should head up to Mount Hood and buy a lift ticket by the end of the year.

That's the only good news. If snow in Oregon could contain itself to the mountains then I'd be all for it.... but these 50,000 person cities with 2 snowplows do _NOT_ need snow. And nobody should be getting excited about it.
