"In a few days, you're gonna get a call and they'll ask us how we did on a scale of one to 10. And if it's a nine, you're not satisfied," the heavyset Russian said as he smiled and handed us a thank you card. "So say '10,' huh? Have a nice day."

Then he was off, leaving Ben and me in possession of our first-ever washer and dryer.

Hmm - that's the same spiel I got when I bought my new car!

These guys messed up too. They told us they couldn't hook up the dryer vent tube to the wall, saying it wouldn't fit. They said we should go out and get an adapter that would cost us $100, and it turns out they were wrong, Courtney and I hooked it up ourselves last night, and it fit just fine. Just some extra work, for which we had already paid $60 for delivery and *complete* installation that didn't get done. So much for 10. =) I'm thinking 7-ish?

Maybe even a 5 or 6. I mean, they had a basic job to perform and they didn't even try to perform it. It's not like they won't get paid. I'm sure they get lots of 10s with that spiel.
