Sorry, I've been playing too many video games.

To be more clear:

I like this picture.

Yikes! No, you are not supposed to cook the book!

this is the kind of picture that could achieve a brief, intoxicating moment of internet fame. awesome!

Ben: What's that smell?
Courtney: Oh, nothing. Just something on the burner.

Fortunately, the recipes came out unscathed. This isn't the first time I've burned something on the stove. One time, I destroyed a tea kettle.

This made me laugh really hard... out loud... for a long time. Now I'm thinking about who I should send it to.

Wow,this picture tells more than a thousand words! And enhanced 100% by your caption, you terrific writer.

My suggestion: make a t-shirt out of it, WITH the caption. Cooks everywhere would love it. Advertise it on the Internet like your mom suggests, and presto! I have no doubt that you would sell a million.

Problem: you might have to share with the author, whose book cover is evident. You would at least have to get copyright permission?

Anyway, what an image! Hilarious and thought-provoking.

No, wait! I've got it! On an APRON!! That is where this image belongs, with caption.

I live to amuse. And I really like that apron idea. I'm going to look into that one.

Mom -- You have no cause for alam. You've survived more dangerous kitchen excitement, and I've learned from watching you. I've seen you manage several fires in your kitchen, and you survived each time. With this book, there were not even any open flames. Just smoke and a bad smell.

Ah yes, I think maybe you are referring to the "wok incident". Yes, I guess you learned from a pro!

Love you, Mom
