Olympia and the web

The soon to be unveiled replacement to sherwood.nu is still an online web journal, with comments and archives and all that stuff. So really, for most folks, it's not that much better or different.

Last week I spent three days in Olympia, the Washington state capital. It was pretty cool, though also quite lonely.

With nothing to do, nowhere to go (oh!), I managed to finish the Shakespeare book I was reading and get all the way through "Under the Banner of Heaven," about Mormon fundamentalists. Now I'm on to "The Smartest Guys in the Room," about Enron. I think after these books, which are all following fast on the heels of the disappointing "Eats, Shoots and Leaves," I'm going to have to dive back into the world of fiction for a while.
